HEARTH's Hops for HEARTH

Event Details

Hops for HEARTH is a fundraising event that partners with Pittsburgh's craft beer scene to help create awareness for the important work HEARTH is doing. 'Beer brings a community together, and can be a catalyst for change!' said by Dennis Guy, CEO of First Sip Brew Box. Hops for HEARTH was started in 2010 by HEARTH's Young Professionals Board who saw the craft beer boom as it was unfolding in Western Pennsylvania. Over the past 12 years, this event transformed into one of the best craft-beer-networking events in Pittsburgh. Our partnership with the local breweries provides a unique experience to meet directly with the brewers and taste new and old flavors they are brewing.

HEARTH provides a safe place, and supportive services, for single parent families to live while developing the skills needed to thrive emotionally, mentally, and financially. HEARTH aims to eradicate homelessness, and stop generational poverty for this vulnerable population. Join us on Friday, April 1st, 2022 to learn first hand how a community can come together to support our families.
